Trend of rude club Secretaries at South Mumbai clubs.

The trend of Club Secretaries (employed) with a Naval Background, being rude to members, seems to be a malaise, at South Mumbai Clubs. A few members may be irregular in reporting updates to their marital status to the club, but that doesn't give the right to a Secretary to send out rude letters to all in the member category! And that too threatening the blocking of the use of membership cards! See the letter as below.

Sir

1. I have received your letter dated 12.11.12 regarding my Gymkhana Membership earlier today, 24.11.12.
2. I like the club's approach "Guilty unless pleading innocent"!
3. My husband the late Mr. _________  has not resurrected!
4. I have not remarried, for fear of loss of my Willingdon membership!
5. I therefore pray that the club allows me to continue as a member!

I trust this satisfies the club's requirements!

Administration at clubs need to have a hospitality orientation, which is severely lacking.
